Near the town of Pleven, along the bed of the river Chernelka, there's a picturesque karst canyon about seven kilometers long. You can walk all day without reaching the end of it. The river is small but its waters are clear and cold. At the break of day the road to Pleven is calm. Only for the people in the villages we pass by the day has started.
